Maryann Cuellar

Maryann Cuellar, 85, of Jeddo, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 10, 2023 after a long battle with Alzheimer’s disease.

She was born March 6, 1938 in Detroit to the late Earl and Audrey Schuhmacher. She married Caesar Cuellar in 1957.

When that young marriage ended, she and her children moved to California. She spent the majority of her life there with family and many friends. She was a very giving woman who enjoyed life, loved God, worked hard, was a great mom and a really good friend.

Maryann is survived by her children, Caesar (Angela) Cuellar and Juls (Mark) Cuellar-Bahn; brother, George (Donna) Schuhmacher; six grandchildren, Nicholas (Michelle) Staels and Jason (Kelly), Caesar (Gabby), Michael, Elena and Matthew Cuellar; four great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Gloria and Etta; and brother, Gary.

A memorial luncheon will be held at a later date.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Research Association.
