Byron Ogden

Byron Keith Ogden, 71, of Madison Heights, died Monday, April 3, 2023.

He was born November 5, 1951 in Detroit to the late Pauline I. Vitale.

Byron worked for Triad, an automotive prototype company, for many years. He was a outdoorsman who loved camping and especially enjoyed all motorsports. He was a member of the Michigan Vintage Volkswagen Owners Club, and enjoyed working on and driving motorcycles, Can-Am bikes, muscle cars and classic cars.

Byron is survived by his wife, Doreen Strang; Doreen’s son and daughter, Rod and Taylor Strang; six siblings, Jack (Tracy) Ogden, Donna (Dennis) Kraemer, Laura (Ernest) Pincombe, Phil (Ann) Martin, Virginia Dougherty and Karen McGuire; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his mother and stepfather, Eugene A. Martin.

Memorial services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 15, 2023 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 1:00 p.m. Pastor Jeremy Mitchell will officiate.
