Christina Maria Hernandez, 52, of Columbus, died Tuesday, April 11, 2023.

She was born October 4, 1970 in Madison Heights.

Christina graduated from Memphis High School in 1989. She received her Associates degree in Applied Science from Baker College and was a homemaker. Christina was on a pool league for many years, and loved horses.

She is survived by her husband, Ted; children, Jonathan (Alyssa) Jackson, Rebecca (Aaron) Gunn, Alaric Hernandez, and Gary Waple; grandchildren, Keira, Elijah, Kassandra, and Apollo; mother, Lorine Britz; sister, Janel (Doug) Steward; brother Eric (Kate) Britz; nephews, Joey, Jordan, Brandon, and Bryan; canine companions, Mia Chica, Beauty, and her horse Scout. She was preceded in death by her father, Warren Britz; sister, Laura Holton; and Sassy, her fluff ball.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 20, 2023 at Life in Christ Fellowship Church, with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. Pastor Jim Achatz will officiate.
