Robert J Marikovics

Robert John Marikovics, 76, of Marysville, died Tuesday, April 25, 2023.

He was born August 26, 1946 in Bronx, New York to the late David and Lillian Marikovics. He married Martha J. Colegrove on April 18, 1970 in Milford Presbyterian Church.

Robert served in the U.S. Army. He was employed at the GM proving grounds in Milford for 33 years before his retirement. He was an avid bowler, rolling two perfect 300 games. He enjoyed fishing and being on the water. Most of all, he loved his family.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Martha “Marti” ; two daughters, Jessica (Scott) Flann and Lena Marikovics; two grandchildren, Lauren and Robby; many very special brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sister, Patricia Nichols; godmother, Lucy DeFalco; and mother-in-law and father-in-law, Hazel and Jesse Colegrove.

Family and friends will gather at a later date.

Robert’s family would like to thank his caregivers, especially his nurse, Mike Steward, for the wonderful care they provided.
