Keith A Haerer

Keith Albert Haerer, 71, died April 25, 2023.

He was born in the Big Easy to Albert and Miriam Haerer. He served in the U.S. Army, was ordained as a Lutheran Pastor, and most recently, co-owned Majority Controls. As hobbies, he savored fine Scotch; appreciated good cigars; and well-done telling of tales. He found humor and joy in all facets of life.

All this was overshadowed by his life in Christ. He was baptized into Christ. He lived sanctified by the Word of God. He is redeemed and blood-bought by Christ the Crucified.

He loved his family, each one gifts of the Lord; those who remain in the church militant, and those with him in the church triumphant.

A funeral service, where you'll hear of Christ, will be held at 11:30 A.M. Thursday, May 11, 2023 at Trinity Lutheran Church with visitation beginning at 10:00 A.M.

Memorial contributions may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church or Concordia Theological Seminary in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
