William H "Bill" Moore

William Hyde “Bill” Moore, passed away peacefully on May 12, 2023, at the age of 85. Born May 24, 1937, to the late Frances and Grant Moore. Beloved husband of childhood sweetheart Judith “Judy” (Turner) married on August 22, 1959. They cherished their love for over 63 years.

Loving father of William Moore II and Susie (DJ) Sine. Dear grandfather of Grant (Mallory) and Maxwell Moore, Thomas, Cameron, Turner and William Sine. Dear brother of Marylyn MacCallum. He was preceded in death by his son, J. Thompson Moore; and brother, James Moore.

He was a lifetime resident of Port Huron. He graduated from Michigan State University. He was past commander of the Port Huron Power Squadron, past president of the Port Huron Golf Club and a club champion and past president of the Independent Insurance Agents of Michigan.

The family will be receiving friends Wednesday, June 28th from 12:30 pm until the memorial service at 1:30 pm in Grace Episcopal Church, 1213 Sixth Street, Port Huron.

Inurnment will be in the Grace Episcopal Church Columbarium. Memorial contributions may be made to the Port Huron Power Squadron or the Port Huron YMCA. Share memories with the family at pollockrandall.com
