Henry J Lange

Henry Joseph Lange, 77, of Kimball Township, died Monday, May 15, 2023.

He was born May 11, 1946 in Detroit to the late Herman and Bernadine Lange.

Henry was employed as a dispatcher prior to his retirement. He loved playing pool, Scrabble, boating, camping, sitting around the bonfire and telling stories. Henry also enjoyed attending the Woodward cruise. He was involved with the MCREST program for many years serving the homeless population of Macomb County.

He is survived by his daughter, Amber (Darren) Schafnitz-Sherman; seven grandchildren, John, Lela, Clare, Zane, Evalynn, Jack, and Sarabeth; sisters, Christine Lange and Louise (Michael) Parrish; and several nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 20, 2023 in Holy Trinity Parish St. Stephen Catholic Church with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. The Reverend Michael Gawlowski will officiate.

Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery, Clinton Township.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Solanus Casey Center.
