Raymond F Schaurer

Raymond Frederick Schaurer, 70, of Port Huron, died Wednesday, May 24, 2023.

He was born July 19, 1952 in Cincinnati, Ohio to the late Raymond and Sandra Schaurer. He married Nancy Forstner on December 26, 1981 in Louisiana. She preceded him in death on December 1, 2015.

Raymond was employed as a machinist for many years prior to his retirement. He enjoyed working on cars, motorcycles and loved hunting, fishing and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his daughters, Michele (Tony) Combs, Leslie (Jerry) Glover and Laurie Combs (Bob Howard); grandchildren; Mike, Matt, Mark, Kabreau, Kayla, Bryson, Kassie, Jaylen and Jayce; and great grandchildren, Shae, Kryen, Kyrea, Isaiah, Ilyanna, Ja’Khari and Gabby; and brothers, Bruce, Matt, Bill, Richard and David. He was preceded in death by his sister, Sue Robertson.

Memorial services will be held at a later date.

Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Clair County Suicide Prevention Committee.
