Frederick M "Fred" Lomasney Jr.

Frederick Martin “Fred” Lomasney Jr., 77, of Marysville, died Sunday, June 11, 2023.

He was born February 6, 1946 in Port Huron to the late Anna E. and Frederick M. Lomasney Sr.

Fred served in the U.S. Air Force during Vietnam. After the service, he was employed with Grand Trunk Western Railroad for many years prior to his retirement. Fred enjoyed golfing, bowling, cooking and was a car aficionado. He was a member of Port Huron Elks Lodge #343.

He is survived by his daughter, Annea (Keith) Fischer; son, Rick (Ann Marie) Lomasney; grandchildren, Logan and Landon Lomasney; two great grandchildren; siblings, Sharon Bowser, Rosemary Moore, Ronald (Janet) Lomasney and Mary (Victor) Roesch; and many nieces and nephews.

Private services were held in Riverlawn Cemetery, Marysville. Military honors were conducted under the auspices of the U.S. Air Force and the St. Clair County Allied Veterans Honor Guard.
