Shawn P Salisbury

Shawn Patrick Salisbury, 62, of Port Huron, died Tuesday, June 13, 2023.

He was born January 28, 1961 in Howell to the late William and Burlene Salisbury. He married Janet McPherson on July 8, 1989 in Las Vegas.

Shawn was employed with Chrysler for 27 years. He loved building things and was considered “Mr. Fix It”. He enjoyed watching football, barbequing, bird watching and listening to rock and roll music. He especially enjoyed family time and playing with his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Janet; daughters, Amanda Salisbury and Shannon (Steven) Singh; son, Shawn Salisbury Jr. (fiancé Sarah Burchel); grandchildren, Serenity Singh and Lucas Rosario; brothers, Keith (Dana) King and Charles (Marsha) King; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by five brothers, Burl, Terry, David, Paul and William Jr.

Funeral services will be held at 12 noon on Monday, June 19, 2023 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 10:30 a.m. The Reverend William Wright will officiate.

Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery, Port Huron. Pallbearers will be Keith King, Shawn Salisbury Jr., Jeff King and Martin Applewhite.
