Catherine E Wilson
Mrs. Catherine Elaine Wilson, 73, of Fort Gratiot, died Saturday, February 4, 2012.
She was born June 12, 1938 in Port Huron to the late Lloyd and Mary Gilmour. She married John A. Wilson on June 29, 1957 in Port Huron.
Mrs. Wilson worked for F. W. Myers Custom Brokerage for many years. She enjoyed bowling, “garage saleing”, crocheting and embroidery, watching her family in sporting events, and most importantly, spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and sisters.
She is survived by her husband of 54 years, John; three children, Sally (David) Dilks of Saline, Jon (Crystal) Wilson of Port Huron, and Kathy (Cliff) Adams of Port Huron; six grandchildren, Christopher (Cristen) and Kevin Dilks, Chelsi and Johnny Wilson, and Aaron and Christopher Adams; great grandchildren, Ivan Engwis and Matthew Dilks; six sisters, Betty (Lysle) Smith, Marilyn Gilmour, Beverly Hubble, Nancy (Bob) Matthews, Lois Patterson, and Sandy (Steve) Rajnay, all of Port Huron; in-laws, Joyce Wilson of Tennessee, Joy Wilson of Texas, Pat Anderson and Beverly Catanzaro of Fort Gratiot, and Judy (Bob) Buckley of Avoca; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her mother and father in law, Harry and Alda Wilson; her sister, Jackie (Rene’) Baxter; and five brothers-in-law, Bud Hubble, Jerry Patterson, Harry and Vinny Wilson, and Ray Anderson.
Visitation will be from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. on Tuesday in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 8, 2012 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home.
Memorials may be made to Blue Water Hospice or the Old Newsboys.
