Connie F Sly

Connie Faye Sly, 79, of Port Huron, died Sunday, June 18, 2023.

She was born May 15, 1944 in Sandusky to the late Ralph and Doris Frank and married Michael K. Sly on September 2, 1966 in Peck.

Connie was employed with Consumers Energy for 25 years before her retirement on July 1, 2012. She enjoyed gardening and reading and was an avid Detroit Tigers fan. More than anything, Connie enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and supporting them at their activities and sports.

She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Michael; daughter, Michelle (Bill) Mack; son, Michael R. (Molly) Sly; five grandchildren, Leah (Trevor) Chamberlin, Will and Owen Mack and Marian and Mikey Sly; a great grandson on the way; and several nieces, nephew and cousins. She was preceded in death by four brothers and a sister.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, June 23, 2023 in Marysville Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 1:00 p.m. The Reverend William Davis will officiate.

Inurnment will be in Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly at a later date.
