Annie J Lukasek

Annie Jean Lukasek, 96, of Traverse City, formerly of Marysville and Lexington, died Wednesday, June 21, 2023.

She was born December 22, 1926 in Columbus Township to the late Frank and Eva Landschoot. She married Raymond “Luke” Lukasek on June 28, 1947 in Marysville. He preceded her in death on October 13, 2001.

Annie graduated from Marysville High School in 1944. She enjoyed bowling, golfing and reading. She was a former member of the Elks Club and current member of American Legion J. Edward Mallorey Post #449.

She is survived by her children, Edward Lukasek (Robert Bates), Joseph Lukasek, Susan Lukasek-King, Linda Ball, Catherine (Rick) McKenzie and Jill (Francisco) Godinez; grandchildren, Jennifer (Justin) Mater, Narah King, Tony (Nicole) King, Stephen (Fiancée Audra Winter) Ball, Lisa (David) Orton, Luke Godinez and Max Godinez; seven great grandchildren; brother, Richard (Marge) Landschoot; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by five brothers and three sisters.

Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, June 28, 2023 in the Marysville Funeral Home.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 29, 2023 in St. Christopher Catholic Church with visitation beginning at 10:30 a.m. The Reverend Joseph Gagnon will officiate.

Burial will be in Riverlawn Cemetery, Marysville.
