Daniel R Frizzle

Daniel Robert Frizzle, 83, of Port Huron, died Friday, June 30, 2023.

He was born May 13, 1940 in Port Huron to the late Delbert and Ernestine Frizzle. He married Judith D. Martin on August 27, 1964 in Norwalk, Ohio. She preceded him in death on October 21, 2021.

Daniel graduated from Port Huron High School in 1958. He was a conductor with the Grand Trunk Western Railroad for 35 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing, woodworking, reading and working on his model trains. Daniel served in the U.S. Navy.

He is survived by two sons, Kelly and Kevin (Patrycja) Frizzle; grandchildren, Kyle Frizzle, Benjamin Frizzle and Danielle Vossen; great grandson, Landyn Vossen; brother, William (Dolly) Frizzle; and sister, Marguerite (Terry) Blashill. He was preceded in death by his sister, Rosalie Frizzle.

Visitation will be held from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, July 5, 2023 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 6, 2023 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. Dr. Mark Madson will officiate.

Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Fort Gratiot Township. Military honors will be conducted under the auspices of the U.S. Navy.
