Carolyn J Pease

Mrs. Carolyn June Pease, 82, of Fort Gratiot, died Saturday, July 1, 2023 in Medilodge of Port Huron.

She was born April 14, 1941 in Port Huron to the late Albert and Ina Cheney.

Mrs. Pease was employed at Michigan Bell and later at Port Huron Hospital until her retirement. She was a talented artist who enjoyed rock painting and golf. She was a member of Colonial Woods Missionary Church.

She is survived by her husband, Frederick Wallace Pease; two sons, Steve (Kathy) Palmateer and Kevin (Wendy) Palmateer; her step-son, Daniel (Sherry) Pease; seven grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son, Scott Palmateer on May 29, 2023; and siblings, Grant Cheney and Barbara Cheney.

Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, July 5, 2023 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 6, 2023 in Colonial Woods Missionary Church with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. The Reverend Phil Whetstone will officiate.

Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery, Port Huron.
