Patrick W Glombowski

Patrick Wayne Glombowski, 86, of Burtchville Township, passed peacefully on Tuesday, July 11, 2023.

He was born August 24, 1936 in Port Huron. He married Judith K. Lambert in 1959 in Port Huron and they were married for 62 years until her death in 2022.

He is survived by his children, Douglas (Martha) Glombowski, Karen Kaercher and Brian (Debbie) Glombowski; five grandchildren, John and Taylor Kaercher, John (Carla) Glombowski, Adam (Alicia) Glombowski and Brianne (Eric) Bury; and great grandchildren Bailey, Abby, Madison, Bentley, Gracie, and Caden. Patrick is also survived by his siblings Robert (Bunny) Glombowski, Richard Glombowski, Mary Snay and Pam Glombowski, along with an abundance of nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by his sisters Diane, Nancy, Barb, Joanne and his brother, Jack.

Patrick was a hard worker throughout his life, working at Mueller Brass while also farming. There wasn't a tractor or vehicle that he couldn't fix. Along with an extensive knowledge of farming he also believed in sowing a seed of kindness by helping others any way he could. He enjoyed making people laugh, as anyone who ever met him would know. When meeting a person for the first time his favorite thing to say would be, "I never liked you anyway". It is with kindness and a smile that we remember him.

A private family committal and military honors will be held at the Allied Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Port Huron.
