Evelyn Sexton

Mrs. Evelyn Sexton, 87, of Cincinnati, Ohio, formerly of Port Huron, died Friday, February 3, 2012 in Veranda Garden, Cincinnati.
She was born March 12, 1924 in Joplin, Missouri to the later Earl T. and Ollie Anderson. She married Glen O. Sexton on September 3, 1949 in Angola, Indiana. He died November 29, 1997.
Mrs. Sexton was a teaching assistant for several Oakland County school districts and a hospital volunteer. She enjoyed crocheting.
She is survived by a son, Mr. & Mrs. Tim (Sue) Sexton of Hamilton, Ohio; three grandchildren, Shawna (Kamal) Girgis, James (Krista) Sexton, and Steven Sexton; three great grandchildren, Vonya, Ramzi Zahra; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 2-4 p.m. on Sunday in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, February 13, 2012 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home, Port Huron. The Reverend Dr. Carlton Cook of Westhaven Baptist Church will officiate.
Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery. Pallbearers will be James Sexton, Steven Sexton, Kamal Girgis, Billy Sexton, Robert Sexton and Noah Sexton.
