Alice M McHugh

Alice May McHugh, 86, of Fort Gratiot, formerly of St. Clair, died Thursday, July 20, 2023.

She was born July 25, 1936 in St. Clair to the late Kenneth and Eva McWain.

Alice was a self-employed beautician and cosmetologist for many years. She enjoyed entertaining family and friends. She loved being with her girls, spending time by the water, baking, watching game shows, walking her dog, Bubba, and collecting tall ship figurines.

She is survived by her daughter, Shellie Andrews; two granddaughters, Arica (Dave) Johnson and Andrea (Ulmil “Del”) De La Torre; and five great grandchildren, Lucas Johnson and Nakoa, Mirah, Amaia and Kehlani De La Torre. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne King; her champion Maltese, Sir Bubba King; and three siblings, Donald McWain, Kenneth McWain and Betty Delor.

Private graveside services will be held in Rosehill Cemetery, East China.
