John J Beem Sr.

John Joseph Beem Sr. passed away in the comfort of his home on July 20, 2023, after a short illness.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Lucille; son and daughter-in-law, Jeff and Pam Beem; and longtime partner, Betty Crawford. He is survived by his three sons, John Jr. (Suzy), William, and Gary (Lori); many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother, Richard (Gwen) Beem; and sisters, Mary Louise Powers, Nancy Blaisdell and Barbara (Jim) Butler.

John enjoyed hunting, fishing and snowmobiling. He was a carpenter, avid woodworker and cabinetmaker. He was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Lewiston Post and, for a time, served as Chaplain.

A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, August 5, 2023 from 2-4 p.m. at Pollock-Randall Funeral Home, 912 Lapeer Road, Port Huron, MI 48060.

Inurnment will be at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Cemetery during a private ceremony at a later date.
