Larry J Burdick Sr.

Larry Jack Burdick Sr., 79, of Port Huron, went to be with the Lord Friday, July 28, 2023.

He was born June 7, 1944 in Port Huron to the late Eugene “Jack” and Gertrude Burdick. He married the love of his life, Connie Moak on November 9, 1963 in Marysville.

Larry was a graduate of Port Huron High School. He was employed in the automobile industry for many years and also worked at Art Van Furniture. He loved all sports, especially baseball and football. He bowled at Celebrity Lanes and was in a shuffleboard league with his brother, Jim. He was a member of Blue Water Aerie #3702 Fraternal Order of Eagles.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Connie; three children, Lisa (Mike) Kowalski of South Carolina, Larry (SueAnn) Burdick of Mississippi and Joseph (Roxxan) Burdick of New Jersey; four grandchildren, Ernie (Samantha) Sanchez, Justin (Hollie) Burdick, Elizabeth (Craig) Meldrum and Dr. Travis (Mary Beth) Burdick; 13 great grandchildren, Kassidy, Chasity, Gaige, Brayden, Audra, Aylea, Maryjane, Alexander, Ashlynn, Elijah, Andrew, Asher and Miss Emelia; brother, James (Madeline) Burdick; sister, Susan Johnston; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Gordon and Marcella Moak; brother, Robert Burdick; brother-in-law, George Johnston; and sisters-in-law, Ida, Judy, Diane, Cherry, and Joy.

A memorial service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, August 3, 2023 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 5:00 p.m. Larry’s grandson, Justin Burdick will officiate.

Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery.
