Kevin Wade Smith, 67, of East China, died Friday, August 18, 2023.
He was born April 28, 1956 in Royal Oak to the late Kenneth and Mary Louise Smith. He married Denise Socha on June 2, 1990 in Birmingham.
Kevin was employed as a Facility Operations Supervisor for the Birmingham School District for over 33 years. He was also a licensed contractor and master mechanic who enjoyed rebuilding and working on cars.
He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Denise; four siblings, Marlene (Ronald) Socall, Kenneth “Bill” (Gloria) Smith, Christine (Daniel) Klein and Rick (Anita) Smith; sisters-in-law, Karen (Richard) Slotness and Teresa Young; brothers-in-law, Brian Socha and Andrew (Wendy) Socha; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews; a great-great niece; and a countless number of friends.
Visitation will be from 1-4 p.m. Saturday, August 26, 2023 in the Marysville Funeral Home.
