Rebecca L VanNorman

Rebecca Lee VanNorman, 66, of Fort Gratiot, went home to be with the Lord Thursday, September 7, 2023.

She was born November 26, 1956 in Port Huron to the late Roscoe and Myrtle Sharette.

Rebecca was the sweetest, funniest and most compassionate, but also sometimes the feistiest human being on the planet. Becky played to the beat of her own drum. She deeply loved her husband, Randy, who she was married to for 50 years. Her other passion was her two fur babies, Sasha and Little Man and her “pretty girl,” Shena, her macaw. She enjoyed being on the beach, looking for rocks, dancing and music. Her love for her family was immeasurable.

She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Randy; sister, Kathy Dickinson; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews with whom she had a special bond; many cousins; three sisters-in-law, Barbara Frazer, Sharon (John) Charboneau and Pamela Frazer; and brother-in-law, Ronald Squires. She was preceded in death by five sisters.

Services will be held at a later date closer to her birthday.
