Amos R. Armitage, 68, of Port Huron Township, died Friday, September 29, 2023.
He was born February 10, 1955 in Port Huron. He married Luann Thompson on December 3, 1976 in Port Huron.
Amos worked at Grand Trunk Western Railroad as a millwright for many years and also worked for Acheson Colloids. He loved fishing, woodworking, gardening, riding his motorcycle and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Luann, two sons, Dr. George (Dr. Claire Beaulieu) Armitage and Benjamin Armitage; brother, Robert (Debbie) Armitage; mother-in-law, Luella Thompson; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, cousins and special friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Deloris Armitage Balmer; his father, George Robert Armitage; and brother, Ronald Armitage.
Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. on Friday, October 6, 2023 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 7, 2023 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home.
