David J Tice

David John Tice, 72, of Kimball Township, died Tuesday, October 10, 2023.

He was born July 8, 1951 in Port Huron to the late John E. and Mary Ellen Tice. He married Linda Herr on July 13, 1985 in Port Huron.

David served in the U.S. Air Force during Vietnam and later in the Reserves for 20 years. He was employed with General Motors for many years before his retirement in 2013. He enjoyed riding motorcycles and bowling. His biggest passion was his horses and he was a member of the Michigan Trail Riders Association.

He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Linda; three sisters, Lori, Deanna and Fran; two brothers, Chuck and Dan; several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Donald Tice and Richard Vermeulen.

Visitation will be from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday, October 13, 2023 in the Marysville Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 14, 2023 in the Marysville Funeral Home. The Reverend Thomas Brennan will officiate.

Burial will be in Caswell Cemetery, Kimball Township. Military honors will be conducted under the auspices of the U.S. Air Force and the St. Clair County Allied Veterans Honor Guard. Pallbearers will be Mark Herr, Matthew Herr, Ryan Herr, Drew Himmel, Bruce Collick and Darren Madajski.
