Paul J Vibbert

Paul Joseph Wadsworth Vibbert, 82, of Fort Gratiot Township, died peacefully Monday, October 16, 2023.

Paul was always a hard worker, and was retired from the Chrysler Corporation. He was a very dedicated and active AA member. He had recently earned his 25-year coin!

Paul was a car buff from a very young age. He was a member of the Tappet Tickers when he was young man. He loved racing, and worked on at least one pit crew. He still watched the NASCAR races every week. He loved animals and being outdoors. He lived on a lovely piece of property in the thumb area for a number of years where several deer, raccoons and squirrels would eat right from his hand.

He was born March 7, 1941 in Detroit to the late Jack K. and Harriet Vibbert. He is survived by two children, Linda Daniels and David Vibbert; eight grandchildren, Amy Cremer, Andrea Daniels, Nick Tolomei, Colleen Ancona, Brian Tolomei, Krystal Tolomei, Brandon Vibbert and Hannah Vibbert; seven great-grandchildren; and a sister, Frances Scott. He was preceded in death by both parents; one daughter, Karen Tolomei; and one grandson, Michael Vibbert.

A memorial visitation will be from 1-9 p.m. on Friday, October 27, 2023 in the Marysville Funeral Home, 1200 Michigan Avenue, Marysville with a brief service held at 4:00 p.m. The Reverend Dr. G. Patrick Thompson will officiate.
