Mary A "Pat" Swift

Mary Ann “Pat” Swift, 91, of Port Huron, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, October 28, 2023.

She was born July 5, 1932 in Orrville, Alabama to the late O.B. and Mariah Anderson. She married OBerry “Heavy” Swift on June 26, 1964 in Port Huron. He preceded her in death on November 17, 2010.

Mary was employed as a nurse assistant at Marwood Manor for many years before her retirement.

She leaves to mourn her passing her daughter, Carrie Anderson; stepdaughter, Cidney Haskins; ten grandchildren, Tony and Shaun Haskins, Jason Walker, Charles (Patricia) Anderson, Dominique Hurtt, Misty, Dana and Nathan Anderson and Divalle and Diamond Adams; ten great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son, James Anderson; and a stepdaughter, Babe.

Funeral services will be held at 12 noon on Friday, November 10, 2023 in Metropolitan Baptist Church with visitation beginning at 11:00 a.m. The Reverend Tony Lindsay will officiate.

Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery.
