John M Pearce

John Michael Pearce, 62, of Port Huron, died Friday, November 3, 2023.

He was born December 16, 1960 in Hartford, Connecticut.

John served in the U.S. Army. He was a truck driver for many years and was also employed in manufacturing. He enjoyed fishing, walking, listening to music, watching movies and spending time with his family. John worked hard to try and make a difference in people’s lives.

He is survived by his daughter, Victoria (Aaron) Leitch; son, Jeremi Torres-Cortes; grandchildren, Tasha Caplinger, Christopher Pearce, Jazmaine Pearce, Camryn Eagle and Braxton Pearce; parents, Robert and Victoria Pearce; sister, Linda Pease; brothers, Troy and Donald Pearce; uncles, Efrain Rodriguez and Johnie Kilbourne; other relatives, Glen (Tammy) Vermeulen and Delores (James) Booth; and best friends, Mary Welsh and family, and Kayla Sutherby and family. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sue Ann Pearce on January 27, 2022.

Graveside services will be held 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 9, 2023 at the Allied Veterans Cemetery. Military honors will be conducted under the auspices of the St. Clair County Allied Veterans Honor Guard.
