Clair H Ressler

Clair Harry Ressler, 93, of Marysville, died Saturday, November 11, 2023.

He was born October 26, 1930 in Altoona, Pennsylvania to the late Raymond and Mabel Ressler. He married Diane Sarafin on February 4, 1967.

Clair served in the U.S. Navy for 20 years, being discharged at the age of 36. He loved spending time with family, especially the grandkids.

He is survived by his sons, Mark (Tammy), Luke (Shelley) and Matt (Sheri) Ressler; grandchildren, Morgan, Molly, Barrett, Samantha, William and Madi Ressler; brother, Eugene (Nancy) Ressler, brother-in-law, Mic AuFrance, sister-in-law, Theresa Hull, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his seven brothers and five sisters.

Visitation will be from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, November 16, 2023 in the Pollock-Randall Funeral Home. A Scripture/Rosary Service will be recited at 8 p.m.

Clair will lie in state from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 17, 2023 in St. Christopher Catholic Church. The Reverend James Arwady will officiate. Military Honors will be conducted under the auspices of the U.S. Navy and St. Clair County Allied Veterans Honor Guard.

Inurnment will be in Riverlawn Cemetery.
