Wesley J Washington
Wesley James Washington, 48, of Toledo, Ohio, formerly of Port Huron, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, February 20, 2012 as a result of an automobile accident.
He was born November 19, 1963 in Port Huron to the late Reverend Lavern and Ruby Washington.
Wesley attended Port Huron area schools and served with the U.S. Army 101st Airborne Division during Desert Storm. He was employed with U.S. Tsubaki Holding Inc. in Sandusky, Ohio.
He leaves to mourn his passing, three children, Tanese Washington, Awndrea King and Wesley Washington Jr.; his fiancée, Lisa Miller; three brothers, Lavern Washington Jr., Clifford (Denise) Washington and Jerry Washington; five sisters, Donna (Alfred) Day, Veronica Busby, Sharon Washington, Mary (Lamont Sr.) Franklin and Michelle Washington; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and co-workers.
Special thoughts and prayers go out to Mary Frederick of Sandusky who was also injured in the accident.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 29, 2012 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home with visitation one hour prior to the service.
Burial will be on the family plot in Woodland Cemetery. Military honors will be conducted under the auspices of the St. Clair County Allied Veterans Council.
