Jessica M Hammond

Jessica Marie Hammond, 43, of Port Huron, died unexpectedly on Saturday, December 2, 2023.

She was born December 5, 1979 in Port Huron and married Gilbert “Bill” Hammond on March 28, 2009 on the dock at 40th Street Pond in Port Huron Township.

Jessica was a caregiver and met her husband while working in a local group home. She also spent time as a dispatcher for a trucking company. Jess was wonderfully creative and enjoyed crafting, especially painting and making beautiful wreaths. She was a cat lover and liked snuggling with her kitty, Bean.

Jessica is survived by husband, Gilbert W. “Bill” Hammond, Jr.; daughter, Hanna; step-son, Joshua (Brooke) Hammond; grandchildren, Aaron and Amelia Hammond; mother, Patricia Kramer; brothers, Adam (Lindsay) Rumenapp and Anthony (Ashley) Kramer; parents-in-laws, Gilbert “Bill” (Carol) Hammond; sister-in-law, Angie (Larry) Warren; many aunts and uncles; and several nieces and nephews.

Private family services have been held.
