Nancy L Roehl

Nancy Lee Roehl, 81, of Kimball Township, died Friday, December 22, 2023.

She was born April 25, 1942 in Port Huron to the late Peter and Letha Gross. She married her high school sweetheart, Richard “Dick” Roehl on November 11, 1961. He preceded her in death on February 21, 2008 after 46 years of marriage.

Nancy graduated from Marysville High School in 1960. She enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, but most of all she loved taking care of her grandchildren and friends.

She is survived by her children, Dan (Jackie) Roehl and Michael (Jill) Roehl; son-in-law, Richie Rycerz; three grandchildren, Austin Roehl, Logan Roehl and Justin (Kati) Simmons; great grandchildren, Olivia and Charlotte Simmons; sister, Ruth VanSulichem; brother, Terry (Susan) Gross; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Kristi Rycerz; brother, Robert Gross; and special friends, Richard Mallwitz and Robert Smith.

A memorial service will be held at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, January 5, 2024 in the Marysville Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 4:00 p.m. Kevin Green will officiate

Burial will be in Riverlawn Cemetery, Marysville.
