Sherman Little

June 10th, 1937 to January 1st, 2024

Sherman Eugene Little Sr., 86, of Port Huron, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, January 1, 2024.

He was born June 10, 1937 in Port Huron to the late Louis and Betty Jean Little.

Sherman graduated from Port Huron High School and then served in the U.S. Army. He was employed at Mueller Brass for over 40 years before his retirement. He was an avid Ohio Buckeyes Fan.

He leaves to mourn his passing a son, Sherman Eugene Little Jr.; grandson, Collin Little; stepson, Anthony Small; stepdaughter, Barbara E. Darwin; step-grandson, Prentiss Small; sister, Janice A. Johnson, who he affectionately called “Sissy Boo” and who died two days after him; two brothers-in-law, Adison (Cheryl) Small and Beinfredrik Small; sister-in-law, Frances E. Johnson; eight cousins, Gloria Winfield, Marcia Hogan, Julie Green, Cheryl Gray, Karan Lucido, Krista Young, David Lewis and Terrance Green; and friend, James S. Curry. He was preceded in death by his wife Aura Ann Small; and daughter, Michelle Little.

A service for Sherman and his sister, Janice will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, January 15, 2024 in Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church with visitation beginning at 12 noon. The Reverend Arthur Turner will officiate.

Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery.
