Karen S Loew

Karen Sue Loew, 71, of Fort Gratiot, died Wednesday, January 3, 2023.

She was born December 22, 1952 in Hutchinson, Kansas to the late Gilbert and Margaret Bailey. She married Robert “Bob” Loew on September 8, 1984 in Boise, Idaho.

Karen was a graduate of Ohio University. She was co-owner of Structural Systems Inc. with her husband Bob. She was an avid reader, enjoyed cooking, traveling and spending time with her grandchildren. She was a member of Grace Episcopal Church.

She is survived by her husband, Robert “Bob”; children, Melissa (Steve) Schaefer, Rob (Staci) Loew and Allison Pinn; grandchildren, Michael Schaefer, Rachel Schaefer, Olivia Schaefer, Bailey (Broc) Adkins, David (Sydney) Loew, Wyatt Loew and Lillian Pinn; great granddaughter, Stella Loew; and sisters, Sheryl Smith and Debra (Jody) Bailey.

Private family services were held at Pollock-Randall Funeral Home. The Reverend Robert Trask officiated.

Inurnment will be in the Grace Episcopal Columbarium.
