Ralph A Trendy

Ralph A. Trendy, 92, passed away Wednesday, January 10, 2024.

He was born June 25, 1931 to the late Anna and Adolph Trendy. He married Beverly Dooley on June 14, 1958.

Ralph began working at Morton Salt at the age of 16 until he was drafted into the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He served his country from 1952 to 1954 before being honorably discharged. Upon his return, he worked at Morton Salt until his retirement. He then was employed at Seaway Terminal before retiring a second time.

He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Beverly; 6 children, Roberta (Joe) Danks, Martha Lee, Rex Trendy, Tim (Jill) Trendy, Tina Kuns and Scott (Beck) Trendy; brother, Ron (Lorraine) Trendy; sister, Teresa Raska; 20 grandchildren; 33 great grandchildren; and 6 great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two daughters, Mary DeRusycher and infant, Tammy Trendy; a sister, Monica Smith; two brothers, Sylvester and James Trendy; granddaughter, Peggy Sue Hunt; and great grandson, Floyd Hunt.

Private graveside services with military honors will be held in Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly.
