Marguerite E Martin

Marguerite Elaine Martin, 74, of Port Huron, died Saturday, January 13, 2024.

She was born September 11, 1949 in Sevierville, Tennessee to the late Herschel Jones and Mary Simpson.

Mrs. Martin was a registered nurse and worked in home health care for many years. She enjoyed crafts of all kinds, especially making greeting cards. She loved spending time with her family and made friends wherever she went. She never lost her faith and trust in God and rarely was found without a smile on her face.

She is survived by six children, Richard (Jamie) Martin, David (Amy) Martin, Daniel Martin, Timothy Martin, Sarah (Mark) Miller and Aimee (Jeffrey) Monette; 15 grandchildren, Joshua (Madi) Martin, Kelsea (Austin) Robinson, Adam Martin, Marilena Muniz, Thalia Muniz, Cristian Muniz, Spencer (Nicholas) Aiello, Bailey Martin, Autumn Martin, Liam Martin, Kathleen Martin, Isabelle Toth, Charlotte Miller, Cadence Cory and Augustus Monette; three siblings, Steven (Kristine) Simpson, Michael (Jeanine) Simpson and Crystal VanConant; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother, Donald Jones.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, February 2, 2024 at Faith Church, 160 W. Hamlin Rd., Rochester Hills, MI 48307 with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. Light refreshments will follow the service.
