Barbara M Foster

Barbara M. Foster, 98, of Port Huron, died Saturday, January 13, 2024.

She was born November 20, 1925 in Knoxville, Tennessee to the late Stewart and Gladys McPherson. She married Robert A. Foster on January 10, 1945 in Washington D.C. He preceded her in death on December 15, 1992 after 47 years of marriage.

Barbara worked for Veterans Affairs in Washington D.C. during WWII. She was later employed for many years as an office manager for North American Benefit in Port Huron, which became Women’s Life Insurance Society. She was a longtime member of First United Methodist Church.

She is survived by three children, Robart A. Foster Jr., Brenda (Dale) Barnum and Marsha (Jack) Schnieder; and six grandchildren. Private graveside services will be held.
