Michel J Johnson

Michel Julian Johnson, 70, of Port Huron, died Sunday, January 14, 2024.

He was born December 5, 1953 in Port Huron to the late Harry and Clara Johnson. He married Stella Doan on September 20, 1976 in Port Huron. She preceded him in death on November 17, 2009.

Michel was a heating and cooling technician for many years. He enjoyed playing pool, euchre and dominos. He especially loved spending time with his family, cooking on his grill and bonfires.

He is survived by his children, Michel Johnson II, Christine (Virgil) Brown, and Janetta Johnson (Andris Leitans II); nine grandchildren, Kitanna, Isaac, Kyla and Dallas Johnson, Shyanne Brown, Andris III, Edvins, Ivo and Osvalds Leitans; siblings, Clara (Bill) Kingston, Penny (Rick) Maynard and Brad Johnson; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Christine Marie Johnson; and sons, Jeffrey and Kenneth Johnson.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, January 26, 2024 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 1:00 p.m. Shaun Laurain will officiate.

Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery, Port Huron.
