Danny W "Dan" Orr

Danny William “Dan” Orr, 74, of Port Huron, died Wednesday, January 17, 2024.

He was born September 12, 1949 in Port Huron to William and the late Gloria Orr.

Dan served in the U.S. Air Force. After the service he was employed with Dunn Paper for 30 years and retired in 2005. He loved golfing, fishing and spending time with his children and grandchildren. He especially enjoyed dancing and cooking with Ferne.

He is survived by his wife, Ferne; children, Tim Orr, Christine (LeRoy) Ayers and Allen (Rebecca) Chartier; eight grandchildren; one great grandson; brother, Terry (Barbara) Orr; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Gloria; daughter, Shannon; and infant son, Adam.

Private family services were held on Monday, January 22, 2024 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home. Military honors were conducted under the auspices of the U.S. Air Force and the St. Clair County Allied Veterans Honor Guard.

Burial was in Lakeside Cemetery, Port Huron.
