Ronald C Emerick

Ronald Christian Emerick, 73, of Port Huron, died Tuesday, January 23, 2024.

He was born February 14, 1950 in Port Huron to the late Christian J. and Rose E. Emerick. He married Beth Downing on July 31, 1999 in Port Huron.

Ronald was employed with AT&T for many years prior to his retirement. He loved watching the boats on the river, playing cards with friends, playing pool and drawing. He also enjoyed watching the Detroit Lions and Tigers.

He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Beth; children, Ronald Emerick Jr., William (Teresa) Swoffer and Jessica (William) LaMarsh; 14 grandchildren; three great grandchildren; siblings, Charon Sontag, Timothy Emerick and Helen (Sean) Dempsey; sister-in-law, Rosary Emerick; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Stephanie Vaughn; sister, Cathey Weaver; and brother Robert Emerick.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 27, 2024 in Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 1:00 p.m.
