Megan D Loxton-Catanzaro

Megan Danielle Loxton-Catanzaro, 41, of Marysville, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, January 24, 2024.

Megan was born May 2, 1982 in Port Huron and graduated from Port Huron High School in 2000. During high school she enjoyed playing softball. After graduation, Megan began work as a dental assistant. She has worked for many years for Lakeside Pediatric Dentistry where she brought smiles to the faces of her co-workers and little patients. Megan’s most important role was as “the best mom ever”. She was a devoted and loving mother who especially enjoyed taking the kids to the beach (she loved the beach!), on bike rides and to the park. She was a volunteer with Port Huron Civic Theatre and spent her free time supporting her children and their various interests.

She is survived by her children McKenna, Madison, Morgan, Ryan, Kinsley, Whitney and Vivienne; mother, Sybil (Floyd “Ted”) Reichle; father, Duane (Renee) Loxton; fiancé, Adam DeGroff; siblings, Jeanine (Jerry) Higgins, Erin Ryan, Erikah Frizzle, Braydon Loxton, Anne (Rod) Schluter, Jill (Jaime) Schulte, and Ted (Lacy) Reichle; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Megan was preceded in death by her grandparents, Tom & June Sawdon and Albert & Bernice Loxton.

Visitation will be 1-4 & 5-8 p.m. Sunday in Marysville Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon on Monday, January 29, 2024 in the Marysville Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. Pastor Phil Whetstone will officiate.

Burial will follow in Riverlawn Cemetery, Marysville.

Memorials may be made to the children’s education fund with checks made out to Duane Loxton.
