Robert L Dickson

Robert Lewis Dickson, 80, of Port Huron Township, died Friday, January 26, 2024.

He was born September 23, 1943 in Capac to the late William and Jean Dickson. He married Cynthia Diller on August 20, 1972 in Port Huron.

Robert honorably served in the U.S. Navy. After the service he was employed in manufacturing for many years prior to his retirement. He enjoyed fishing, woodworking and hunting. Robert especially loved his country.

He is survived by his wife of 51 years; daughter, Melissa (Chad) Prins; grandchildren, Ethan, Rileigh, Parker and Griffin Prins; several nieces and nephews including, Mark Johnson, Lisa Johnson and Carl Johnson, Angela (Troy) Roznowski and Haunani Johnson (Matt Willard) and her children, Dencin and Otto Willard; Kaitlyn (Nicholas) Mahaffy and Juliana Amey, who were like grandchildren to Robert and Cynthia; and sister, Nancy Miron.

Graveside services with military honors will be held at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly.

Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Clair County Allied Veterans Honor Guard.
