Thomas Frederick Schrader

Thomas Frederick Schrader, 80, of Burtchville Township, died Sunday, February 4, 2024.

He was born March 26, 1943 in Port Huron to the late Harold and Joan Schrader.

Thomas was employed at Dunn Paper for many years before his retirement. He enjoyed hosting boxing nights, riding motorcycles, hunting, playing Euchre, telling stories, bowling, boating and snowmobiling. He was a member of Tuesday Night Bangers traveling golf league. He always had a need for speed and drag raced as a young man.

He is survived by four children, Thomas (Jere) Schrader, Tanya (Craig) Stover, Terri Brennan (Scot Schwartz) and Trina (Derek) Fleury; three stepchildren, Jeffery (Tammie) Hazel, Scot Hazel and Brent (Amanda) Old; eight grandchildren, Tabatha, Zachary (Alex), Kelsey, Craig Jr. (Amanda), Mitchel, Tanner, Tyson and Taelynn; five great grandchildren; loving companion, Sue Lamb; sister, Catherine Hedberg; two half-sisters, Peggy and Lisa; many nieces and nephews; and former wives, Donna Pavey and Joan Andrew. He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Schrader.

Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Friday, February 9, 2024 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home followed by a memorial service at 7:00 p.m. The Reverend Nathaniel Tucker will officiate.

Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
