Susan L Gray

Susan Louise Gray, 86, of Port Huron Township, died Sunday, February 11, 2024.

She was born June 4, 1937 in Port Huron to the late Bryce and Verna Howard. She married Robert E. Gray Sr. on February 1, 1958 in Port Huron. He preceded her in death on April 19, 2013.

Susan was a school bus driver for Port Huron Area School District for 27 years before her retirement. She was an avid gardener and enjoyed reading.

She is survived by two sons, Robert “Rob” (Erika) Gray Jr. and John (Johnna) Gray; two daughters, Kathleen (Duane) Brown and Kristine (Scott) Hilliker; 13 grandchildren, Dale Moses Jr., Nichole (Joe) Gold, Robert (Sarah) Fishel, Jason (Kaitlin) Gray, Jenny (Nick) Prevost, Sarah (Derrick) Nyman, Adam Gray, Billy Hilliker, Michael Hilliker, Olivia Gray, Kristen Brown, Travis Brown and Callie Goulette; 12 great grandchildren; brother, Larry (Bonnie) Howard; and several nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, February 17, 2024 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. The Reverend Dr. Roxie Davis will officiate.

A private burial will be in Kinney Cemetery, Clyde Township.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Clair County Community College for nursing scholarships.
