Ida Jackson, 93, of Memphis, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 6, 2024.
She was born June 8, 1930 in Detroit to the late Pearl and Thomas Chemin. She married Dewey L. Jackson on August 8, 1948 in Georgia.
Ida loved cooking and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her husband of 75 years, Dewey; three children, Betty Gean Turck, Tom (Claire) Jackson, and Tammy Benn (Daniel Schutt); and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sons, Anthony and Tim Jackson.
Visitation will be from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, March 7, 2024 in the Marysville Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, March 8, 2024 in Marysville Funeral Home. Deacon Richard Kliemann will officiate.
Burial will be in Lambs Cemetery, Wales Township.
