Louise M Catanzaro

November 1st, 1936 to January 16th, 2024

Louise M. Catanzaro, 87, of Melbourne Beach, Florida, formerly of Port Huron, met her Savior, Jesus Christ, face to face on January 16, 2024.

She was born November 1,1936. Louise married Leonardo J. Catanzaro, Sr., June 25, 1957 and they were married for 56 years until his death on October 21, 2013.

Louise was a dedicated worker at Jim Rankin's Meats and later, Jack Smith's Meat Market. She was an excellent cook and a genuine foodie, especially when it came to seafood, or Chinese and Mexican cuisine. Louise was a great left-handed bowler with a "mean" hook, and always enjoyed a good card game of Euchre, Pepper, Solitaire, or Tunk. Playing marbles on the "Wahoo" board and watching sunsets at the river were also favorites of Louise. She served often at park clubhouse and church dinners, content to be in the background working behind the scenes. Though sweet, humble, and quiet in nature, she could "hold her own" with 4 boys and a husband. Louise especially loved her 25 years in the A1A Condo Park in Melbourne Beach and her many friends there.

She is survived by two sons, Leo (Jody) Catanzaro of Port Huron and Craig "Buck" (Myra) Catanzaro of Melbourne Beach, FL; grandchildren, Dana (Rick) Eagle, Mark (Megan) and Amy Catanzaro, Jessie (Dr. Erik) Noren, Bambi (Aaron) Sigafoose, and Shana Blanton; 9 great grandchildren; sister, Kathy (Mike) Kelley; many nieces, nephews and cousins; extended Catanzaro family; and her friends at the A1A Condo Park. She was preceded in death by her sons, Matt and Tim; beloved mother, Lucille (Rankin) Herriman; and sister and brother-in-law, Pat (Duane) Herriman.

Cremation has taken place. Inurnment will be with her husband in the Allied Veterans Columbarium, Port Huron.
