Charles M Skornicka

Charles Maurice Skorincka, 70, of Clyde Township, died Thursday, March 14, 2024.

He was born February 19, 1954 in Flint to the late John and Peggy Skornicka.

Charles was a hard worker with an impeccable work ethic who owned his own maintenance company for many years before his retirement. He was fiercely independent and was always the “Boss.” He enjoyed sports, boating and in his youth, driving derby cars. He was a past member of Port Huron Motorcycle Club.

He is survived by three children, Sean (Angie) Skornicka, Steve Skornicka and Samantha (Jeremy) Ressler; six grandchildren, Kevin, Kaylee, Riley, Andrew, Emily and Karena; great granddaughter, Kaisley Ressler; three siblings, Steven (Tina) Skornicka, Debbie (Rick) Barnes and Sharon Skornicka Evans; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother, John Louis Skornicka; and brother-in-law, Ron Evans.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
