Lenton W Taylor Jr.

Lenton William Taylor Jr., 64, of Kimball Township, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 23, 2024.

He was born June 18, 1959 in Detroit, Michigan to the late Katie and Lenton W. Taylor Sr. He married Carol Manning on June 16, 1990 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Lenton was employed with Ford Motor Company for many years. He enjoyed farming, gardening and watching sports. Lenton was also a lifelong member of Metropolitan Baptist Church.

He leaves to mourn his passing his wife of 33 years, Carol; children, Latina “Dumpy” Taylor and Lenton “Little Man” Taylor III; grandchildren, Markel, Breonna, Teonna, Jamaica Rayne and Damarion Taylor; great grandchild, Sophia Lynn Taylor; siblings, Latina (Jeffrey) Cates, Jeanette (George) Culler-Roberts, Lynn Taylor, Lennie Riley and Allen (Amy) Boyea; sister-in-law, Jovel Louis; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his son, Marlon L. “Bra Bra” Taylor; granddaughter, Angelica Taylor; sister, Donna Jean Taylor-Walker; and brother, Tommy Taylor Sr.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Friday, March 29, 2024 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home with a concluding prayer at 12:00 noon.

Burial will be in Caswell Cemetery, Kimball Township at a later date.
