Thomas R "Skip" Endean III
Thomas R. “Skip” Endean III, 69, of Marysville, died Monday, April 1, 2024 at McLaren Port Huron Hospital with his family by his side.
He was born May 7, 1954 in Port Huron to the late Anna M. and Thomas R. Endean Jr. He married Kathy S. Wilton on December 3, 1981.
Skip retired from DTE after 38 years of service as a chemical engineer. He was a former member of Grace Episcopal Church. He was quite an outdoor enthusiast. In his younger years, he loved riding around the neighborhood on his mini bike. That hobby turned into motorcycles and a passion for hill climbing. He also enjoyed snowmobiling, golfing, canoeing and driving around in his jeep. He loved spending time with family at his northern Michigan cabin. He was also fond of traveling, especially to Florida to spend time at the ocean. His most recent hobby was his Godzilla pinball machine, which everyone enjoyed playing. He will be remembered fondly by his favorite quote, “take care of business.”
He is survived by his wife, Kathy; three sons, Mathew (Jenifer) Endean, Thomas Endean IV and Michael (Mandy) Endean; several grandchildren; sister, Sheryl (Dave) Giffin; brother, Scott (Pam) Endean; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother, Steve Endean.
A memorial gathering will be held at a later date.
Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
