Carlos L. Spigner

October 28th, 1952 to April 3rd, 2024

Carlos Lee Spigner, 71, of Port Huron, went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, April 3, 2024.

He was born October 28, 1952 in Port Huron to the late Carlos G. and Juanita Spigner.

Carlos was a Union painter for many years and helped paint the Blue Water Bridges at one point. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and spending time with his children.

He leaves to mourn his passing two sons, Carlos Lee (Melissa) Ellis and Devin Dinkins; two brothers, Raymond Woods and Douglas Spigner; four sisters, Sanita Woods, Jennifer (William) Hayden, Jacqueline Spigner Howell and Marcellina (Michael) Angell; eight grandchildren, Dominic (Alexis) Schulz, Imani Ellis, Casim Ellis and Amari Ellis, Justin Hibbard, Jordan Dinkins, Jasmine Dinkins and Jaylen Dinkins; three great grandchildren, Zion, Khi and Tessa Schultz; Goddaughter, Brittney Barber Russell; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins, including a special niece, Madison Woods. He was preceded in death by his parents; grandmother, Sadie (Sim) McArthur; infant sister, Carol Spigner; and nephew, Raymond Woods IV.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, June 7, 2024 in Lakeside Cemetery, Port Huron.

The family wishes to thank Carlos’ sister, Sanita, for providing unselfish, dedicated, kind care and support to our brother for over 30 years.
