Michael L Sasu

Michael L. Sasu, 50, died Friday, April 5, 2024.

He was born September 19, 1973 in California to the late Myron Sasu and Brenda McDonald. He married Melissa Karl on July 24, 1993 in Algonac.

Michael served in the National Guard. He worked in construction with his dad when he was younger, was a line-cook for several years, and then returned to the construction trade. He enjoyed playing video games and being outdoors, especially hiking and camping. His love of music inspired his sons to learn to play and love music as well.

He is survived by two sons, Micheal Sasu (Mindy Wooten) and Matthew Sasu; mother of his children, Melissa Sasu; siblings, Michelle (Todd) Stokan, Carolyn Innis-Wilson, and Joe Sasu; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Private family services will be held.
